Privacy policy
Last updated November 8, 2026. Applies to the browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Firefox, Safari) and the userscript.
The short version
The extension sends one thing: the public ID of the YouTube channel you're looking at, to Mixerno.space, to get its subscriber count. We don't collect, store, sell or share anything else, and there's no account.
What is sent, and where
- To
backend.mixerno.space: the channel ID (for exampleUCx7…) of the channel page, video or search result on screen. Your browser makes this request directly, so Mixerno.space also receives the standard information any website receives, such as your IP address. See Mixerno.space for how they handle requests. - To
youtube.com: on search result pages the extension loads channel pages from YouTube to find their IDs. These are ordinary requests to YouTube, made with your existing YouTube session.
What is not collected
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reports or advertising IDs.
- Your browsing history is never sent anywhere beyond the single lookup above.
- No personal information, YouTube account details or cookies are read or sent by the extension.
- On your device only, the extension keeps your number-format setting and the counts of channels you have viewed (up to 240 readings per channel), which power growth rates, milestone projections and the toolbar popup. This never leaves your browser; removing the extension deletes it.
This website
ryts.mgcounts.com has no ads. It shows Disqus comments and uses Google Fonts; those services may set cookies and receive your IP address under their own privacy policies. The trailer is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com and only loads when you press play. None of this applies to the extension itself.
Open source
You can read every line the extension runs on GitHub. Packages are built from that source by a public GitHub Actions workflow.
